An English giant carriage clock, made c.1850. Signed and numbered James Mc Cabe ROYAL EXCHANGE LONDON 2715. Week-going movement with lever escapement on a platform. Hour striking work on a gong with repeat on top of the clock and strike/silent lever. Matt silvered dial with seconds ring. Gilt brass case with dust protection.
