A very good pair of Empire gilt and patinated bronze figural three light candelabra, each formed as a classically draped female herm supporting a vase-shaped socket upon her head and two foliate wrapped candle branches with drip-pans and nozzles issuing from a square tapering stem, her feet upon a stepped circular pedestal mounted by a pair of leaping lions centred by a flower-filled vase on a square base
Paris, date circa 1815
Height 58 cm. each.
