A very fine pair of Louis XVI gilt bronze two-light wall-lights, each surmounted by a fluted covered vase with flaming finial and angular handles from which hang a berried laurel leaf swag, above a ribbon-tied tumbling laurel leaf swag flanked by downward S-scrolled acanthus-wrapped branches each with a beaded drip-pan and vase-shaped nozzle above a fluted tapering shaft and foliate cast boss, both fitted but not drilled for electricity
Paris, date circa 1775-80
Height 54.5 cm. each.
