Breitling Laederich, La Chaux-de-Fonds. An enameled 18K gold hunter cased key wind lever fob watch No. 28998, 2nd half 19th century.
Charles-Auguste Breitling (who is believed to be the maker of this pocket watch, as he married a woman named Frederique Laederich) registered himself in 1844 as a watch dealer. So roughly about that time production started and went on until as it is assumed his death, which would make sense to have happened around 1870-1880 as he would have been 60-70 at that time. He was born in 1810.
