Mechanisme: 8-days,going-and striking train, strikes on the whole hour. second-hand,date and moonphase. A silvered dial with gilt bronze spandrels on a brass plate A finely painted moon on the moon-disc, the silvered arch around the moon is engraved with the text:"Time and tide wait for no man". A beautiful mahogany case.Fine banding in the bottom-panel and door. Fluted 1/4 colums in the middel-section of the case, 1/1- and 1/2 fluted colums on the corners of the top. Very decorative etched- and gilt glass panels above the arch. Height: 2.44 m.
