A gold, enamel and pearl-set watch, signed and numbered on the backplate VOUMARD LOCLE 932. The enamel scene has been painted in an unusual and distinctive palette after an engraving by A. Conte of the painting ‘Evening’ by William Hamilton (1751-1801). It is attributed to the enamel painter Abraham Lissignol (1749-1819). The movement has Chinese duplex escapement. • Diameter: 62 mm.
