An English skeleton clock, Lyre shaped Louis XVI mantel clock, circa 1780.
Eight day movement. The base of gray and white marble, gilt ornament. The frame in the shape of a lyre with a ormolu ornament to the top. Open shaped white enamel dial, ormolu hands. Also open clockwork, star shaped with fusee and chain. The pendulum , knife edge suspended, in the form of a ring around the dial. The marble base with ormolu feet.
